The Abbot Public Library Foundation is proud to continue building on the public-private partnership for Abbot Public Library. We have long appreciated the generosity and forward-thinking support of our committed citizens to maintain our library, the heart of our community. APLF made a promise to the generous taxpayers of Marblehead that an extra $2 million would be raised to ensure that the newly renovated library (which is scheduled to reopen in Spring 2024) will continue to be maintained and updated as needed. The 2023 APLF Gala’s goal is to live up to this commitment and to support APL during its construction, current programming and future needs. The inaugural APLF gala was held on Friday, June 16 at a lovely estate on Peach's Point. Additional donations are always welcome!
